What happens after I instruct Planning Objections Scotland?

Is There a Fee to Submit a Planning Objection What happens after I instruct you?

Once you instruct us, we set up your project file and confirm the key timescales for preparing and lodging your objection.

We then prepare your objection using our structured P.O.S Intervene Method — Prepare. Object. Safeguard.

  • Prepare – We review the application, supporting documents, and planning context to identify robust grounds of objection.
  • Object – We draft a clear, policy-backed objection and provide this to you for review, comment, and feedback.
  • Safeguard – Once approved, we submit the objection on your behalf and ensure it is formally recorded by the Planning Authority.

Following submission, we confirm receipt and acknowledgement of your objection.

Throughout the process, you remain fully involved, with the opportunity to review and refine the objection before it is lodged.

Time is ticking.

Looking to save time trust us to formulate an objection on your behalf

Understand the Decision Process – The Scheme of Delegation

The ‘scheme of delegation’ sets out the triggers for a committee determination, usually based on application type or level of objection received. In some circumstances, you can coordinate objections with neighbours to meet objection triggers.  Struggling to track it down then utilise our template POS 5.1.1.
