Highland Council Planning Objection Success

Planning Application Withdrawn

We’re pleased to report another planning objection success on behalf of our client in the Highland Council area. The application proposed a change of use from a long-established guesthouse to a café and hot food takeaway.

While the proposal might have appeared straightforward, our review identified a number of serious planning concerns:

• Potential noise, odour, and late-night activity impacting neighbouring residential amenity

• Traffic and parking issues in an area not designed to accommodate regular takeaway use

• Change in character and function of a primarily residential street

• Lack of evidence to support suitability for food use in this sensitive location
