Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Planning Objection Success

Planning Application Withdrawn

We’re pleased to report a successful outcome following the withdrawal of a planning application for the erection of two dwellinghouses within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Acting on behalf of a concerned local resident, we submitted a robust objection that raised serious concerns regarding:

• Overdevelopment of a sensitive site, inconsistent with the scale and setting of surrounding properties

• Loss of outlook for neighbouring homes, particularly from elevated development on sloping ground

• Adverse impact on residential amenity, including loss of natural sunlight and increased overshadowing

• Failure to comply with National Park policies aimed at protecting character, setting, and landscape integrity

Our objection demonstrated that the proposal was excessive, poorly sited, and harmful to the amenity of existing residents. Following our intervention, the applicant withdrew the application before determination.
